1. Who we are

This website is operated by Pacific Legacy Trust ("we", "us"), trading as Canada eTA Assist, registered at [YOUR REGISTERED BUSINESS ADDRESS]. Contact: support@canadaetaassist.com.

2. Not a government service

Canada eTA Assist is a private, commercial application-assistance service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the Government of Canada or Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). You can apply for an eTA yourself on the official Government of Canada eTA website (opens official Government of Canada site in a new tab) for the government fee only. Our service fee is charged in addition to the government fee.

3. Our service

We provide assistance with preparing, reviewing and submitting Canada Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) applications. We do not provide legal or immigration advice. The decision to issue or refuse an eTA is made solely by the Government of Canada. An eTA does not guarantee entry to Canada; a border services officer makes the final decision at the port of entry.

4. Fees

The total price consists of (a) the Government of Canada eTA fee per applicant, which we pay on your behalf, and (b) our service fee of US$49 per applicant. All amounts are displayed before payment. [Specify currency, taxes, payment processor.]

5. Your responsibilities

You must provide true, complete and accurate information, matching your passport exactly. Providing false or incomplete information can lead to refusal and other consequences. You are responsible for confirming that you are eligible for an eTA and that an eTA is the correct document for your travel. You authorise us to submit the application on your behalf using the information you provide.

6. Processing times

Our internal review time is [X business hours]. Government processing times are outside our control; according to the Government of Canada, most applications are approved within minutes but some take several days.

7. Refunds

See our Refund policy.

8. Limitation of liability

[To be drafted by your lawyer: limits of liability, including for refusals, delays, travel losses, and errors in information supplied by you.]

9. Governing law

[Jurisdiction and governing law.]

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force at the time of your order applies to that order.
